The challenge in adapting the dimensions of the robot to fit

The first test of measuring the robot. It fits perfectly in the box. This means we can compete. Now if we continue adapting the build of the robot, we have to continue following the box regulation.

The glass box regulation

The builders wanted to change the type of arm that they wanted to use, and to do this they were able to adapt their ideas and the prototypes. Upon making a new arm with improvement learned from the first, they were able to attach the new arm to be used for this year’s model. The mentioned arm prototype ended up not accommodating to the robot and did not fit into the required dimension requirement, this led to the need of a smaller arm. Our builders decided to restructure the back to support the arm.

After the whole build, it needed to pass one more test. The box fitting. In order to compete, the robot must perfectly fit inside a 18 x 18 box. Which it did pass :) So this gets one thing out of the way !
